This manifesto is born with the purpose of uniting Brazilian civil society — entrepreneurs, professionals, students, professors, companies and academic and non-governmental institutions — around a common cause: giving global visibility to Brazilian engineering through the #BrazilianEngineering brand.
Brazil has one of the most creative, safe and efficient engineering in the world. And the world already depends on it every day. From WEG motors to Embraer aircraft; from VTEX systems to Stefanini services; from 3G management engineering to the design and manufacturing of Havaianas, Olympikus, Farm, among many other companies. The world runs on Brazilian engineering.
This manifesto is an open invitation to all who believe in Brazil's potential and wish to strengthen this narrative.
The manifesto is public, collaborative and non-profit. All support received will be entirely dedicated to exposing the #BrazilianEngineering brand, which is in the public domain. This is an initiative of Brazilian civil society, made by those who build, teach, learn and apply engineering.
Together, we can position Brazil in the global imagination as a reference in engineering. Just as #MadeInChina redefined the world's perception of Chinese manufacturing, #BrazilianEngineering can transform how the world sees Brazilian engineering. The more companies, professionals and institutions communicate this brand in a unified way, the greater the recognition of the real impact of our engineering and the businesses it enables.
